Radon is a radioactive gas that is known to cause lung cancer in people who have been exposed to it.
The gas is tasteless, colorless, and odorless, so professional equipment is required to determine if it is present in your home.
We offer the following two methods of Radon Testing:
- Liquid Scintillation Canisters: Two small vials are placed four inches apart and are exposed to the air in your home for 48 to 72 hours. We then send them to a laboratory for analysis.
- Continuous Radon Monitoring Machine: We place a radon-measuring machine in the home for 46 hours. Every hour, the machine records levels of radon detected in the air.
An optional Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) inspection will inspect for infestations, damage, evidence of past treatments and repairs of wood-destroying insects, including termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees and powder post beetles.
Our inspectors are Registered Wood Destroying Insect inspectors with the National Pest Management Association.
